Vicky and Ed's Wedding Photography Story

Hare and Hounds Hotel, Tetbury, Gloucestershire

Vicky and Ed's wedding was a fantastic occasion that not even a day long downpour of rain could spoil.

As Vicky and Ed's wedding photographer, I had looked around the venue at our first meeting. Still, I arrived in good time, which was a bit of luck as I only just managed to get some nice shots of the venue and its grounds before the heavens opened for the rest of the day.

I made a dash for it to the cottage where Vicky was getting ready. It was a very calm atmosphere and I was glad to see that spirits were high despite the weather.

As luck would have it there was a break in the weather just as Vicky was to make the short journey across the grass to the ceremony. I managed to get some shots of Vicky with her bridesmaids before her Dad joined her.

The ceremony was very touching. Vicky beamed as she walked down the aisle and Ed gazed back adoringly. The readings were delightful and the four piece band who had been hidden amongst the congregation for the entire ceremony played them out.

Guests mingled inside while the group shots were taken before everyone sat down for the wedding breakfast, Speeches followed, during which Vicky's Dad played a little tune on the harmonica, which he dedicated to his daughter. The first dance was an upbeat number, as Vicky and Ed enthused their guests to join them on the dance floor.

It was a fabulous day that I enjoyed photographing.

Just to let you know that we received our photos in the post today....and we love them! We thought that you were great on the day and totally felt at ease with you taking photos of us.
